Our photographer will be in attendance at shows where stated. Photos are uploaded to an online website and are sometimes shared via social media. If you do not wish yourself, your horse or your children to be photographed please speak to the photographer on the day. Thank you.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL COMPETITORS

VACCINATIONS
PASSPORTS MUST BE SHOWN TO THE SECRETARY BEFORE UNLOADING HORSES! With regards to the ‘Equine Flu’ problem the Committee has agreed that ALL horses and ponies attending ODRC Shows and Clinics/Rallies need to have up to date 12 month flu vaccinations. If your horse has had to re-start his jabs then he will need to have received the first 2 in order to attend. You will be required to produce your horse’s passport to the secretary before unloading your horse(s). Failure to produce the passport or a finding of outdated vaccinations will result in you being asked to leave. We apologise for any inconvenience.

CLINIC & COMPETITION ENTRIES
Please note that FULL payment will be required at the time of booking for all clinics/rallies. Without full payment your space will not be secured.

ALL ENTRIES FOR SHOWS ARE TO BE MADE VIA EQUO-EVENTS. AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY ENTIRES ON THE DAY.

Tack Sale

Venue: Westbury Village Hall

A tack sale in conjunction with Woods Equine Rug Wash and a fund raiser for Breast Cancer Research.

Seller 6pm and Buyers from 7pm.

Annual AGM to discuss the club’s status and future plans.

Easter Mounted Games

Venue: Riverside Farm, GL14 1RE

Numerous age groups.
Each age group has 5 classes to compete in starting with Fancy dress then 4 races.
Race rules will be explained on the day.
Rosettes and Easter Gifts to all riders.

BADMINTON TRIP

A trip to badminton horse trials on Saturday 7th May 2022 for Cross Country.
 
£46.50 per person, this includes ticket and bus.

Polework & Jump Clinic

MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS WELCOME

Venue: Hulks Farm

The wonderful Karen Griffiths will be with us to run this clinic, for all levels of riders & horses. We will be running Pole work groups & Jumping Groups aswell.
Groups of 3
£25 members & £27.50 Non Members.
Karen is a wonderful instructor, she fills everyone with such confidence and joy, Karen has also been a Coach for BSJA Teams aswell.

FIRST AID COURSE

MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS WELCOME

Venue: Soudley Village Hall

First aid at work and equestrian first aid course!
We are running a one day first aid course with medi-k first aid training.
Max 12 people per course (if lots of interest we can arrange another)
9-5 to be run in the main hall at Soudley
it’s £75 per person which includes tea, coffee, squash, cakes, sandwiches and crisps.
I will require a £35 non refundable deposit to secure your booking with the balance to be paid by 13th June 2022.

Classes from Teeny Tots right up to 90cm. Schedule to follow.

Annual Summer Show

MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS WELCOME

Venue: Speech House, GL16 7EL

We have got a variety of in hand and ridden classes on offer.
Handy pony open from 12pm til 2.30pm.
Clear round open from 10.30pm til 11.30pm then back open at 1pm til 3.30pm £3.50 on the gate.
We have put in a teeny tots showjumping to start at 11.45am.
 
First aid will be in attendance.
Raffle tickets will also be on sale.

We are hosting an under 16s Show
There will be 4 different categories
Under 5s
6-10 unassisted
6-10 lead rein
11-16 year olds
What’s included
💙Tack and turnout
💙A odrc dressage test on a surface
💙Course of small jumps 1 round against the clock
£20 members (for all 3)
£25 non members (all 3)
If you would like to do more than one round at showjumping then this would be £3.50 on the day.

This is a first come first serve basis £25 deposit is required to secure your spaces

Please note if you cancel your space after you’ve paid your balance then a refund cannot be given unless the space can be filled or a vet certificate can be shown

End of Season Party

MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS WELCOME

Venue: Drybrook Social Club

 
Its Back again. Our End of Season party to say Thank you to everyone that has supported us. We will have our Awards again with a few new ones as well. Raffle, Lucky Dip, Buffet & Bar for you.
7pm we kick off and Carriages leave 11.30pm.
Tickets are £6. Tickets will go on sale later in the season.

Membership costs from as little as £15 for children (under 14 years) and only £20 for children over 14 years and adults. A family membership is also available at just £35.

The Club runs a series of clinics, shows and social events for everyone. Members get discounted entry to all of our shows and training clinics.
